PRIVACY POLICY
The Best Blog Ever collects as little personal data as a publication can get away with. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Last updated: June 2026.
What We Collect
Newsletter email. If you subscribe to The Briefing, we store the email address you provide. It is used solely to send the newsletter — never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate readership — which pages are read, roughly where from, on what devices. This involves cookies and IP-derived location. We do not use this data to identify individual readers.
What We Don't Do
No advertising trackers, no data brokers, no sponsored-content pixels, no sale of personal information to anyone. Reading this site requires no account and no personal data.
Third Parties
The site is hosted on Vercel; analytics by Google Analytics; newsletter delivery by our email provider. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service, under their own privacy policies.
Your Choices
Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe. You can block analytics cookies in your browser or with any standard content blocker — the site works fully without them. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email liyam@thebestblogever.co and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above changes with it. No silent edits — the same standard as our editorial policy.
